We aim to:

• adopt a policy of early identification and intervention wherever possible
• ensure that all SEN pupils receive a broad, balanced, differentiated and relevant curriculum
• promote the ‘Every Child Matters‘ agenda through multi-agency working where appropriate
• work in partnership with parents/carers to plan for and support the child
• assess, monitor and review the child’s progress on a regular basis
• use Assessment For Learning to allow the child to plan and evaluate their success
• remove barriers to achievement
• provide an appropriate and inclusive educational experience.
