Brilliant Ofsted Report

We are delighted with the outcome of our Ofsted inspection which took place last term.

The type of inspection that we received is known as an ungraded inspection, which means that we were inspected to make sure that we continue to be a good school. I am very pleased to say that the outcome of the inspection is that: ‘Wantage Church of England Primary School has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection’.

Please take the time to read through the report. I am sure that you will agree that the report is full of lovely statements which describe our school very well. I am particularly pleased that ‘pupils enjoy learning’ here, that ‘teachers make lessons fun and bring learning to life’ and that ‘pupils feel happy and safe’. I love that we have created ‘a nurturing and caring environment for all’ and that pupils say we are ‘a kind school, where you can be yourself’.

I would like to thank everyone associated with Wantage CE Primary School for all that they do to create such a wonderful school. I am proud to be part of this community and humbled to be headteacher to such super staff, pupils and families.
